For those who didn't know, we're all planning to go to Hong Kong where Giles has been appointed to a post at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, in the Academic A&E Unit. We're due to fly out on the 14th January, and we're thinking we'll be there for a year or so before deciding what to do next.
Today we had a wonderful service at Highfields, to dedicate Naomi and to say goodbye as we're sent off hoping to be able to carry on in student ministry. We also had a great lunch - thanks to Tamar and Anita, and everyone else involved! Thank you also to all those who have supported us over the last 7 years or so - your prayers and friendship mean a great deal to us. We'll be really sorry to leave, but we do hope to be back at some point - and we're only a Skype call or email away! (And it's only £300 return flight with Oasis!)
For those who'd like to be able to carry on praying for us, we will try to send an e-newsletter every couple of months or so - if you'd like to get this, please click here to fill in your email address.
For the next week or so though it's all about packing and sorting out the house... and wondering whether there are any potential tenants out there? Perhaps 4 clinical medical students who want to be near the hospital?!
