New term

Well, a new academic year has started again: more work for everyone except Henry and Naomi!

Giles is currently speaking at a medical conference in Valencia, Spain. He's also been trying to do a bit of school/church/house-hunting in between changing planes in London as we're due to come back to the UK in January when he will be starting work with CMF's student ministry team. We're looking forward to being back in the UK and seeing family and friends again, though we've got a lot to do between now and then!

We've started a new term of home-schooling and are encountering all the usual joys and challenges of that; all the playgroups are getting going again as well as swimming lessons; plus church, Sunday school and an Alpha course Giles is helping with.

The weather is still hot: we had a church lunch on Sunday followed by balloon games in the sun...more survival than skill! There was an amazing storm last night and there's a typhoon blowing at the moment so all quite noisy here, very exciting though!
