Daddy and I went to Akagera National Park to camp. We left on Thursday at lunchtime and saw some elephants as soon as we arrived! However we were told the campsite we were planning to go to had 35 students and 20 Germans so we had to go to the campsite without the electric fence beside a lake full of hippos and crocodiles. When we got there we lit a fire to keep the hippos away. Then Daddy lit his small gas stove and we ate sausages, baked beans and hot dogs. In the morning we went to have an excellent breakfast at the hotel there. We then drove round for a bit and saw bufffaloes, giraffes, impala and an old ruined cottage. Then we went home.
