The days are certainly flying by here. We have advent calendars, an advent candle and such a long list of Christmassy things to do that I think we'll be busy till next Christmas. We have Christmas parties, dinners and special events and a couple of Christmas cards have even found their way across the world to us. There's a lot of fake snow in Hong Kong but no chance of any of the real stuff, it has got cooler, but we were down at the park in short sleeves again today and it's sunny every day at the moment. Naomi is now oficially walking and very pleased with herself.
We've had a few friends popping over from Cardiff for a quick meal, Meirion Thomas, Wendy Tram and Paul Belcher; they didn't cross the world just for the meal but it was great to see them anyway.
The rest of the time has been full of work and schoolwork, but not housework as our 'helper' Angelyn is doing all of that, as well as cooking, washing, and even ironing (a new concept for me...I'm still not convinced).
We're looking forward to Christmas at home in our flat here, we will of course miss family and friends from across the world but we decided that it was just too far to fly back for such a short time. Instead we've booked a week in Singapore over New Year and are looking forward to exploring a new country and being able to swim outdoors again!
