Well, the cards kept coming and Father Christmas found his way here too, so all in all it was a very happy Christmas, and of course, a happy 6th birthday for Jemima.
Our English-speaking church joined with our Chinese sister-church in celebrating the birth of Jesus so it was a real Hong Kong Christmas. The carols were familiar tunes but often with Chinese words. In the words of THE most popular carol in Hong Kong, (Henry certainly knows all the words...Naomi probably does too!) 'Joy to the world, the Lord is come!'. If you haven't received a Christmas card from us yet, don't give up, it may still be on its way...
