Cape Town Day 1

On Thursday 14th April we flew overnight via Ethiopia to Cape Town. It was a good flight and we had a couple of hours sleep at Addis airport.
We hired a car and stayed in a lovely place called 'House on the Hill' at Green Point, walking distance from the V&A waterfront and with great wifi and our own fridge.
On the first day we decided to tackle Table Mountain; we climbed up Platteklip gorge which was pretty steep and a long way up but we made it eventually and enjoyed the views from the top. We got the cable car down which meant the journey down was about 100 times quicker than the journey up.
